Homelessness in San FranciscoResearch Presentation.
A research design sprint presentation done while interning at IDEO.org.
An IDEO/IDEO.org team spent two weeks investigating homelessness in San Francisco. We talked to eight homeless people and six service providers, visited one housing facility, served three meals, and observed the daily shelter reservation process. We also conducted a first round of secondary research into the history and context of SF’s ongoing homeless crisis.
We then took the research and presented it at an event with around 60 attendees who have dedicated themselves to help solve homelessness in San Francisco.
I worked very closely with the team to help design the experience of the event and the design of the board and deck.
